Connect to Jira

Overview

Connect Arovy to your Jira instance to quickly move from the Arovy initiative to your Jira tasks.  Additionally, the Arovy initiative status will automatically update as your Jira ticket progresses through different statuses. 

Configure Jira

Jira must be enabled in your Arovy account before it can be set up. If you'd like to use the Jira integration, please send an email to our support team (support@arovy.com). 

After Jira is Enabled in your account, follow these steps:

1. Create a Jira API Token. Atlassian's instructions can be found at the following Link

2. Once a Jira API token has been created, navigate to your Arovy instance. 

3. Open your Arovy settings, then click on Jira. 

4. Populate the required fields, Jira URL, Username, and API Key/ Token.  The Jira Url needs to contain the "https://" ( i.e., https://arovy.atlassian.net/)

5.  Click Connect Your Instance

6. Map your Jira statuses to the Arovy initiative stages. 

You have now completed the setup of Arovy's integration with Jira. You will now see Jira Issues on your initiatives in Arovy. You can you this button to search for the Jira task you would like to link to the Initiative.
