Overview

Arovy's bulk documentation tools let you apply ownership, stakeholder assignments, and criticality ratings to multiple connected Salesforce applications at once. This keeps your team informed with the context they need when reviewing event monitoring activity.

Applies to: Arovy Application Setup | Feature: Bulk Documentation

Prerequisites

  • Event Monitoring enabled
  • At least one Salesforce application approved and monitored in Arovy
  • Permission to edit application settings

Estimated Time

~3 minutes

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Open Application Setup

  1. In the left navigation, click Application Setup.

This displays all applications that have been approved and are actively monitored within Arovy.

Step 2: Select Applications to Document

  1. Click the bulk selector checkbox in the top-left corner to select all visible applications, or check individual applications manually.
  2. To narrow your selection first, use the Filters panel to search for a specific application or group.

Step 3: Bulk Edit Application Details

  1. With your applications selected, click Edit.

The bulk edit panel opens, allowing you to apply changes to all selected applications simultaneously.

  2. Fill in any combination of the following fields:

    • Owner — Assign an individual as the application owner (e.g., a specific team member)
    • Stakeholders — Tag a team or department with a stake in the application (e.g., Finance)
    • Criticality — Set the business criticality level: Low, Medium, or High

  3. Click Update to apply the changes.

All selected applications are updated simultaneously. The new ownership, stakeholder, and criticality values are immediately visible to anyone reviewing those applications in event monitoring.

Expected Results

After completing these steps:

  • All selected applications reflect the assigned owner, stakeholders, and criticality rating
  • Teammates reviewing event monitoring activity can see the updated context inline alongside each application
  • No per-application edits are required — changes applied in bulk take effect immediately
